"Quinault 2022 zeigt von Anfang an eine herrliche Frische. Das Jahr 2022 war sehr trocken, was einen deutlichen Wassermangel zur Folge hatte. Am Gaumen zeigt der Wein ebenfalls Frische. Die Tannine sind leicht cremig und bieten Kraft, aber sie sind dennoch streng, und zwar auf eine sehr eindringliche Art und Weise. Wird das Ensemble all dies verpacken können? Ich bezweifle es, aber man muss ihm noch etwas Zeit geben."

"The 2022 Quinault l'Enclos, which contains more Merlot this year, has a very ripe and opulent black cherry and blueberry scented nose, perhaps just a little 'blocky' compared to recent vintages. The palate is ripe on the entry with thick tannins. Sweet and pastille-like, with blackcurrant and mulberry, yet I find the finish just missing the amplitude of its stablemate, Cheval Blanc."
