"More backward and tight, the 2010 St.-Joseph Ste.-Epine obviously possesses power, depth, ripeness and richness. At present, it is dominated by its crushed rock and floral notes as well as its tannins, but it is currently reticent and somewhat austere due to its recent bottling. This should turn out to be a blockbuster, but potential purchasers are advised that it will require 3-4 years of bottle age. It should last for two decades."
